　　Shylo Gallegos, an 18 -year-old senior, says he wishes he had become one of its members earlier.

　　“If students in the first year went to volunteer like this, our school would be a lot different,” Shylo Gallegos says. And, he says, besides giving him a way to help others, The Revolution Group has made him feel better about his own life: He says he used to be the kid who sat in the back of the class and didn’t have many friends and didn’t really like anybody.

　　“When I really became part of The Revolution Group, it got me out of my shell,” he says.

　　Clean, neat clothes say that the person has both self0respect and respect for other people; they are well organized and well-behaved. Even the simplest, casual clothes can leave this impression on others while expensive yet wrinkled clothes will suggest you are careless. That is why those in the military are required to wear uniforms and keep their uniforms neat.

　　Two other big factors are color and style. They give away your character, preferences, and social standing (to some extent). Classic style shows a more serious and conservative(保守的)personality while bright, colorful clothes speak of being fashionable, perhaps artistic. Many actors and musicians are known for wearing unusual, colorful clothes that are meant to draw attention and show their unique character. Careful color match speaks of taste, looking like a rainbow shows lack of it. Black trousers, light eolored shirt or blouse, and brown shoes will give away that their wearer knows nothing about harmony(协调)or cares little about their appearance.

　　Dressing oneself according to the atest fashion which doesn’t go with one’s figure reveals lack of individuality(个性)and personal taste. On the contrary, someone who wears clothes perfectly suiting them that are not the latest trend clearly shows an ability to rise above the crowd.

　　You can actually make a statement by what you wear, especially if you break social standards by dressing differently from what is usually expected for a certain occasion. One of my crazy dreams, for example, is to put on a pair of torn faded(褪色的) jeans and some strange T-shirt, color my hair purple, and show up for a job interview - just to see the funny look on the interviewer’s face.
