Unit 1 How tall are you? 单元教案设计

　　活动三：测量汇报

　　教学参考时间：3—4 分钟

　　教师让学生拿出上一课时测量自己的房间、床、以及书桌等物品的大小尺寸，以及写好的完整句子。

　　让学生用完整句汇报结果，说说测量的情况，如：My room is 4 meters long and 2 meters wide.

　　让学生以小组为单位，组内再次表述个人测量结果。

　　3、Presentation (呈现新知)

　　活动四：歌谣说唱

　　教学参考时间：1—2 分钟

　　教师播放A Let’s chant 部分的录音。

　　师生共同说唱Let’s chant 部分的歌谣。

　　活动五：图片对比

　　教学参考时间：4—5 分钟

　　教师示范小丑的头像说：Look, I have a clown. What do you think of it? 帮助学生回答：It is funny. 教师再出示一张小猴的图片，说：Look at the monkey. What do you think of it? 帮助学生回答：It is funny, too.

　　教师接着问：Which one is funnier, the clown or the monkey? 帮助学生表达自己的看法，如：I think the monkey is funnier. 或 I think the clown is funnier. 提醒学生注意从 funny 到 funnier的变化。

　　教师可以适当补充同类形容词比较级如：happier, busier等。

　　教师出示另外两张猴子的图片，贴在黑板上，说：Look! There are three monkeys. Which monkey do you like? Why? 引导学生给出答案：I like the yellow one. It’s taller than …. I like the brown one. It’s stronger than …. I like the little one. It’s ….

　　活动六：对话学习

　　教学参考时间：6—7 分钟

　　教师引出课文中的对话：One day, Ben and his father went to the zoo. Look, Ben is watching monkeys at a zoo with his father now. What are the monkeys like? Which monkey does Ben like? Let’s read the dialogue.

　　教师让学生两人一组阅读对话，回答上述问题。教师必要时提供帮助，解惑答疑。

　　教师播放录音，学生回答教师的提问：What are the monkeys like? Which monkey does Ben like?

　　教师再次播放录音，学生跟读。

　　学生自己完成填充句子练习，教师请四名学生将答案写在黑板上。

　　4、Let’s play (趣味操练)

　　活动七：对话展示

　　教学参考时间：2—3 分钟

　　教师让学生四人一组，练习对话内容。

　　教师让学生到讲台前表演对话内容，根据时间情况表演3—4组。

　　活动八：语音知识

　　教学参考时间：4—5 分钟

　　教师出示本部分的教学挂图并播放录音，第一遍学生静听。

　　教师第二遍播放录音，让学生跟读。教师有意识地在字母或字母组合ai, ay, oi, oy 等下面画线，让学生自己总结该字母或字母组合在单词中的发音，帮助学生理解：不同的元音字母与字母组合可以发相同的音。

　　接下来教师带领学生从左到右、从上到下的读例词，了解元音字母、字母组合以及辅音字母在单词中的发音。

　　教师让学生看Read and match 部分的练习，先请一名学生在挂图上连线做示范，请其他学生仔细看图，辨认词形、试读音标，然后连线。最后学生集体核对答案。

　　活动九：小组活动

　　教学参考时间：4—5 分钟

　　教师让学生看教材第6页Pair Work部分的内容，让学生做本部分的交际活动。

　　学生拿出一张准备好的自己与好友的蜡笔图画，对同桌的同学说说This is me. That is my friend. She is 8 years old. She is 2 years older than me, and she’s taller. She has long hair and big eyes ….

　　让学生写写自己伙伴朋友的情况。

　　5、Consolidation and extension (扩展活动)

　　活动十：练一练

　　教学参考时间：3—4 分钟

　　教师让学生打开活动手册第3页。

　　让学生自己看Read and write 部分的阅读练习。

　　教师带领学生朗读本部分的内容。

　　学生自己完成Finish the sentences部分的练习。

　　教师订正练习题的答案。

　　活动十一：知识小结

　　教学参考时间：1—2 分钟

　　音标/ei/, /ai/, /эi/，/p/, /b/, /t/, /d/

　　认读句子：I think the little monkey is only 40 cm tall. The monkey is shorter but you are funnier.

　　教学重点：

　　let’s learn部分的单词：heavier，longer，thinner，bigger，smaller。

　　在情景中使用对话中的句子，并能结合自己的实际情况恰当的替换句中的单词。

　　听、说、读、写单词：heavier，longer，thinner，bigger，smaller。

　　教学难点：

　　形容词的比较级的变化形式：heavy词尾变i再加er；thin和big双写最后一个字母后再加er。

　　2、能够理解并朗读story time中的故事。

　　课前准备：

　　教师准备录音机，或资源中心课件。

　　教学过程中所需的图片(let’s start)、录音(let’s play,  Let’s chant)、课件、动画素材。

　　本课时的几张单词图片和卡片。

　　学生每人带一个自己喜欢的动物玩具。

　　教师播放本单元Let’s chant部分的韵文，学生说唱，复习有关单词。 Let’s say the chant together.

　　请同学替换自己的名字说唱韵文。You can say the chant use your own names.
